ORIGINAL: Avanti

Dental floss, several strands tied to a pair of pencils.
Keep the pencils small enough so they fit in your hand so you don't smack the paint. Just cut them down and be sure to keep the metal around the eraser away form the paint.

Right, Osteodoc; I wasn't clear... the pencils are to be handles so that the floss doesn't also cut ones hands or fingers. I find that even though floss has to be replaced a number of times during the process, it is the gentlest, most idiot-proof means of removal. I've seen people cook their paint with heat-guns, for example.

All the best.

We see this a lot. The search on this board works really well.

I'd rather just make my post count go up then just leave no response. I guess I could just leave a generic "search the board" message, but that wouldn't be the DF way! LOL.

Avanti, I knew what you meant and you made complete sense, but unfortunately I don't think anything can be 100% idiot proof. I didn't want someone reading the forum and mess up thier truck and blame the forum.LOL

I love idiot proof methods. Makes me feel like more of a man.
