Default Idling Problem - Please help!

his is my first post to this forum. I hope somebody can help me.

2003 Ram 1500 - 5.7 Hemi

Sitting at idle it goes from 800 to 1200 rpms. When it goes up to 1200 it'll stay for about 5-10 seconds then back down to 800 for 5 seconds them back up to 1200. Does this constantly. Didn't start this until I replaced all 16 plugs/wires and cleaned throttle body and map sensor a week ago. Also sometimes just driving it'll start running real rough, no power at all and the red lightning bolt light will start flashing on the dash. I pull over to the side of the road, turn the switch off and then start truck again and it's fine. This has been going on for over a year. Somebody said it's the throttle position sensor, I bought one, said for that year and motor. Found out that the tps can't be replaced. It's built onto the side of the throttle body.

How many miles ?
Did you take throttle off so you could clock it so that cleaner/muck didn't get into internals? I would swap out throttle and disconnect battery for relearn 1st. Recheck secondary wires for proper routing. No dtc?

Right now it has 249,??? miles. I took the throttle body off to make sure I got everything clean. What is the procedure for the "relearn" when disconnecting the battery? And what is "dtc"?

Disconnect battery and touch the cables together for about 30 seconds. Upon reconnect, the truck will relearn everything within 4-5 cold starts. You'll need to start cold engine, drive until it reaches operating temp, shut off and let cool down. Do that 4-5 times.
