Full size truck with leave sprung and torsion bar suspension sort of rules out smooth ride.

Throw a few hundred pounds worth of sand bags in the bed, that'll smooth it out.

Does the front end appear level with the back? Or higher? Does it have a faux califorinia lift? Maybe someone cranked the torsion bars too much.

After ball joint replacement, take it to a shop that does lifetime alignments and pay for that. You can go back later, like when you buy new tires and have them do it again.
