Default New from Maryland

I just bought my 06 2500 and would like to fill the wheel wells. I have stock wheels on it and haven't looked to see if it has been leveled although it sit pretty level. I am still learning about the truck, and trying to figure out what has or hasn't been done to it already. What is the maximum size tire I can out on the stock wheels?

It's not really about "size" per se.... it's about width. Most manufacturers will have a recommended rim width for any given tire. You can go awfully tall, but skinny, on even narrow wheels. As to what will 'fit'? I don't know, but, I can move you to a section where folks DO!

Welcome to DF!

Default Thanks

Yes, a "Move" to a section would be greatly appreciated! I owned the same Ford F150 for 19 years. It finally gave up on me so I bought this 06 Ram. I can't be happier with it! I've always been a Mopar guy. Now I just have to learn everything I can about what I have!

258/70/17 will fit great. 305/70/17 rub on the what I call the trailing arms.

Cool. I lived in Germantown for about 10 years. Pretty country up that way.
