Default Outside air temp display always reads 130 F Sensor?

Hi, my 04 SLT 1500 Hemi, the overhead display always reads 130 F, is there a sensor or something that I should replace? thanks

Yes left side under hood. In front of the condenser fan.

Would you happen to know a part number Having a hard time finding it on the parts break down.

I don't. Call your local dealer. Give them your vin. After they give you a price ask for the part number. Then you can look elsewhere cheaper.

I think mine did that for a while, then straightened up. Did you recently replace the battery?

Yes the Battery was replaced and computer has been reset. Maybe give it a little bit and see if it straightens out?

I would unplug it, let it 'cool down' and then plug it back in. When I say cool down, I merely mean the electronics inside, not because it's reading high..lol
You can read the resistance of the unit. It should raise/lower with hot/cold cycles. You can use a heat gun to perform this test. If it doesn't move, then it's cooked. No pun intended..haha

Buried in the service manual somewhere it tells what what that condition means. There is also one of her condition as well but I can remember it right now.

Ok I have check things out and i do believe the sensor to be bad, I ll look up the part and get it ordered.
