just bought 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. air blows strong and speed adjust works. However, will not switch between blowing thru face vents to defrost or feet. Any thoughts?

Currently this truck is equipped with dual air. Wondering if it wasn't supposed to have that climate control module and maybe that's why can't switch.
