I have several issues with my a/c. I have low air flow coming from my passenger side vents and it's much stronger out of the driver side. Also, when I try to turn on the MAX air (I am guessing the re circulation)---nothing happens. It is literally like I never touched it at all. The various speeds of the A/C do work but not the max button to recirculate. Also, it does seem that I can never control if air goes to the right area..(for example- only to lower vents, or only to main vents or both main and lower vents.) Are these all the same issue? I asked a dealership guy who told me min 1k to work on and replace all involved....I can't do that...I'm broke.

Sounds like the doors under the dahs have crapped on you. It's a known problem, they even have an upgrade repair kit for it. Requires pulling the dash unfortunately, that's why the labor is so much.
