Default Water Swishing Noise

Hi all,

Over the last week or so in the cabin, every now and then i hear a water swishing about noise down by the passengers foot well also my heater has stopped bowing hot (not that i need it) but was wondering if they are related and what to do?

Is the floor wet? If so heater core leak.

Yes its a bit wet but not soaked....is the a way to test it

You can do a pressure test. IMO from what your describing, your heater core is leaking.

Other than putting in a new heater core can i by pass it?

Put the two ends of the heater hoses together.

Go into your engine compartment and find where the two input and output hoses start and exit, on the passenger side firewall. These go inside the cab to the heater core.
Remove these hosesand join them together, bypassing the core.
