Default 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT

I recently had my steering column replaced and now my steering wheel moves up and down. Also every since I've had this done my airbag light keeps going on and off. Any suggestions??

Who replaced it? I'd take it back.

I take it back in to them Monday. Thanks. It didn't do any of these things before. And it was the towing company that replaced the steering column

Umm yeah, I would say it was an install fail on more than one front since the clock spring is flaking out too.

Why would you choose a towing company to replace your steering column? That's like going to the dentist for a vasectomy...

The new healthcare system. Yep. Root canal and colonoscopy all in the same visit. Oh. Now they throw in an eye exam!!! Lol. Sorry. So off topic. I should ban myself.

I have my grandson has a 2002 ram 1500 with a bad 4.7, a friend had a roll over 2005 4.7 and transmission the looked the same except a for the intake. after the engine was installed we found a 4 prong plug that went to the computer on the 2005. it is not on the 2002 wiring harness. is there anything that we can do to make it work. sounds like the timing is off and want start.
