I have a stock 5.7 hemi and I am looking to get a little more power out of it. I don't want anything crazy just something noticeable and safe for the truck.

It's starting with '05s that the Diablo starts to shine. Tested one when I had my '04 and it didn't do much. No transmission tuning til '05 (at least at that time). Found the Superchips to be a superior product on an '04 at that time...

 

I have a Diablosport for my 08, but would like to try a Superchips just to compare the two.

 

My Superchips (3815 I believe it is) it was night and day on my 04 Hemi Ram! My truck always had *****, but the ability to correct the speedo for different tire sizes, holding the Rev limiter till 6,100rpm and having first gear hold out longer and getting rid of what I used to think was a laggy 2nd gear start under WOT and then you have the cherry topper having the explosive power it packed after the tune just made it amazing!


It took what was already an amazing truck and refined its God given potential. Are there other tunes out there that are better? maybe? but I've got single cab hemi Ram that went from running 7.18 second 0-60mph to a 6.8 second 0-60mph and a 140mph speed limiter. I have several dash cam vids of Duramax & Super Duty Diesels getting their $ h I T pushed in especially after attempting to roll coal on me.

 

Superchips woke my truck up like no bodies business. It's a shame they are so "detuned" from the factory. The 4.7 is a pretty stout engine. Combine that with being able to change the shift points via superchips really wakes them up.

 

always wanted to try one on my 03 back in 05... here it is almost 2016 still ain't tried it lol
