Thumbs up Throttle position sensor and transmission shifting

I had an issue with my 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a 4.7 liter engine where it was having a problem with the transmission shifting erratically. My RPMs were revving very high while I was driving but my speed would not change. Sometimes the truck would stall to the point of almost cutting off. What was causing all of this problem was my throttle position sensor. I am glad I was able to pay $35 than $3500 for a transmission!

If you have to rev it up to drop into gear, then it is either low on fluid or you have internal issues.
