Default Front End Rattle

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD and have a rattle coming from the hub area. I have replaced everything (sway bars, tie rods, rack and pinion, upper and lower control arms and ball joints). Usually a hub going bad makes a growl sound but this is a rattle when going over bumps. Have also checked hood mounts etc. Has anyone ever heard of a hub rattle? This is driving me nuts.....

Sure they can rattle. Put it on a lift and look for play, if there is a good bit of play you should be able to recreate the rattle...

By any chance did the dust cover on the brake rotor get bent a tad and might be rubbing the rotor a little?

I'll check the dust cover but I think it's prolly in good shape and tight. The sound is tinty though which makes me believe it is more of a sheet metal issue.

Loose caliper. Or brake pad. Loose shock
