Default 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 GTX Valuation Process?

Hi everyrone,
I own a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab sublime green GTX, numbered 0363 of 433 produced. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. I'm looking on how to go about getting the valuation process completed. Currently the market value on the GTX Trks run around $12,053. I feel that these gtx trks should be valued much more higher than what the market calls for. My trk only has 7,580 miles appraised at $29,500. Rated concors condition. I feel that my truck should be valued at around $24,500. It is in emaculate condition. If anyone ones how to go about it, I would love to know. My trk is insured with Grundy (29,500). Thank you

Im confused, is this a comment or a question?

Per http://autoresource.internetautoguid...-gtx-1949.html

"At the end of the day, this HemiGTX was basically a regular-cab Ram with a 5.7-liter Hemi; a fact which did make it about 300 pounds lighter than the standard Quad Cab 5.7-liter Ram, but effectively matched it in terms of performance and handling."

So.....you got a low miles truck painted a different color from everyone else? Not trying to be mean, just trying to understand what were talking about here........

TO: Weedahoe: It is a request for information, more or less to current owners of the GTX.
TO: IKeaton: Yes. Its possible for a 2wd 11 yr old ram truck to be worth $24,00 in the USA, thats where I live. There are alot of trucks out there that people have invested their hard earned money and time in to get the dream truck they have always wanted. Look at what the dealerships are doing to us, $67,000 for a dodge hellcat, Really????

I think what he is getting at is a 10+ year old truck worth 24-29K which is can't be. Now granted you can try to sell anything for any number and there are some people out there who impulse buy or are mislead and buy without pricing or comparing first but the GTX is no different than the Rumble Bee or the Daytona as they too am standard trucks with a specific paint color assigned to them.

Comparing a everyday 10+ year truck worth to specialized and high performance new car just can't be compared together.

A Hellcat is not just a challenger with a special paint job.

I want to thank those whom have expressed their comments regarding the valuation of the 04 GTX. I was looking for substantuated and concrete information (ie, news articles, magazine info etc). I know there has to be someone out there that has some of this information stored away. Well I must move on and again thank you.

If you are looking for articles and such, try eBay (seriously) and Google. They might help. There might even be some specific Facebook groups for that truck also

I was wondering how you made out with your certificate of authenticity? This is my post on another forum that really hasn't provided me with any answers.

I recently purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 GTX 5.7 Hemi. My question is How to go about getting a Certificate of Authenticity for my truck. It is orange # 417 of 433 (It does have the badge on the drivers door jam). ..It has a salvage title currently and being rebuilt. It did not come with the certificate, just the owners manual and service book. It is a nice clean vehicle with 67000 miles on it. Before we got it, It had a wheel bearing fly apart and did some damage to the drivers side fender and suspension. I do not have pics currently but will take some. If anyone has any information to guide me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

There used to be a department, called Chrysler Historical Services, that would help in such matters. Not sure it exists anymore, been a while since I've been plugged into that stuff.
