Default Front Axle Actuator

Let me first start off by saying Hi to everyone here and thanks for any help you will be able to provide to me throughout my time here.

I currently own a 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 and just noticed what I now know is the front axle locker actuator, or at least that's what the Mopar site calls it when I put in the part number, is leaking. Not a dripping leak as of yet that I know of since I have seen no signs of a leak on the pavement or snow. Its covering the part so to speak. (here is the part# if anyone wants to see it 52114387AF).

I've tried to google it as much as possible but I am not coming up with any videos and not many forums or articles that talk about that part specifically. What could be causing this leak? A bad seal or just needs replacing? I know I can find the part for anywhere between $120 and $150. I'd really rather not take it to a dealership and get charged all that money just for something that seems to be only 4 bolts. Is it something that could easily be changed at home? I plan on checking the diff to make sure the fluid levels aren't too low due to the leak.

Thanks again for any help that anyone can provide. I will be back on here more as I am trying to keep this vehicle running and in the family for as long as possible. It doesn't have really any issues that I am noticing now and I want to keep it in the best shape that I can. If it helps it has about 94k miles on it.

I would ask the dealer parts person, if there is a gasket or o ring.
