Help!!! I am about to give up.
I have a 2002 Dodge Ram with the 4.7 V8 in it. One day it ran fine. The next it won't even start. This is what I have done.
1st. I checked if I had spark. I have spark on all 8 cylinders.
2nd. I checked compression. I have compression about 120 PSI
3rd. I checked fuel. I have fuel. I don't have a pressure guage, but kitting the valve shoots a line of fuel out. (I also poured a little in the throttle body, it made no difference at all)
4th. Pulled codes and am not showing any codes. I have a snap on scanner so I checked and am getting a signal from both the crankshaft and camshaft sensor.
5th. I unbolted the exhaust just to make sure that nothing was clogged.
6th. 1st cylinder placed at TDC, looked and the damper is pointing to top dead center on the timing case. I did not removed the valve covers to check the camshaft wheel.
All it does is turn over. Doesn't even sound like it wants to start. I have searched and searched and called everyone I know and am at a loss. It sounds like it has to be out of time. I just can't prove one way or another. Is there anything else I am missing.

Are the battery terminals good/ tightened? Might have wrong cable clamps for the posts or perhaps just a grounding issue somewhere.

I don't have wiring diagram for '04.
In the '03, the sending unit is connected to the PCM on Connector 1 pin 4 on a BLACK/LIGHT BLUE wire, and Connector 3 pin 26 on a LIGHT BLUE/BLACK wire.
