I'm having problems with noise with my new front brakes, I drive like a race driver too.. these brakes seem to be cheep quality from that website mentioned above? I was looking at buying a new set of rotors and pads maybe new calipers. from carid under performance..

I got my drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads off eBay. Can't remember the seller, but the price was good. Can't remember that either, but I'm cheap and wouldn't have bought them if they were too expensive. LOL

Has anyone here looked into cryogenic freezing of new rotors? My cousin had his done on his '06 Charger for around $30/piece in Tulsa. Had I known my Mazda would still be on jack stands I'd have done this back in December. I know a lot of performance parts places for Corvette, Porsche, and others sell cryo-frozen rotors so that the life of the part is dramatically increased. Long story short, the ROI is said to be well worth it.

I just looked at my records and I did use semi metallic last time I did brakes and those are the correct ones for my truck and assume for most if not all rams.

So I have installed the new dimpled/slotted rotors and padsfrom brake performance. Due to my impatience I did not read the instructionsand was not aware that the rotors where directional (user error) I did call thecompany and spoke to their tech and he actually said I can leave them like thatand will not have any effect on longevity or performance. I may switch just forpeace of mind. Make sure you read the instructions! Lesson learned here. LOL

Drilled and slotted rotors face different ways for different company's, I have also heard it doesn't matter which way you put them.

I am not sure if it matters, Companies have them facing different ways, If it was me I would probably put them on the way they suggest as its not that hard of a job to do.

cross drilled to me always seem to warp faster and eventually I went back to solids w/ceramics since alot of boat pulling for 2016 is taking place

but there is a specific direction as mine had RF, LF,RR, LR stamped on them
