Default Engine dont start at first ignition.

Hi there,

Be smart with me cause i am living in Belgium and this is my first post.

So i got a start problem of my hemi. The problem dont occur all the time.
Sometimes, when i try to run my engine, he dont start. I ear a click but i need to insist several times to be started. (4 or 5). Someone told me that it can be the starter. It is not the starter cause i have changed it today. Spare plig have been changed, relay have been checked.
Other one told me that it can be the solenoid into the transmission. The solenoid dont see the neutral position, so the engine cannot start properly. I have also a strange display on my board. all the selector have little square on it. Parking, neutral, reverse, drive, have a square displayed on it. Maybe somebody have already seen that?

I am not mechanical expert and expert in english.

Please help

Check the power wire to the starter. If the connection got dirty it'll happen (happened to me). After I disconnected it and cleaned it haven't had a problem since (going on 5-6 years).

It's late and I'm going to bed here, but I recall a thread not too terribly long ago about someone having squares around every position of the gear indicator. Give a search for it and see if something comes up. Try different keywords and see if you get a good hit.
