New to the site. I have a 2003 Dodge 2500 5.7 quad cab Hemi. Put a new motor in and have changed 4 rear main seals, they keep leaking. I have a 2007 1500 5.7 Hemi just changed the motor and am on my second rear main seal and it is also leaking. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

 

Are you sure its the rear main, and not, perhaps, the oil pan? Are you lubing the new seal before you install it?

I am using assembly lube. It sure seems to be the seal. Interesting it is the same on both trucks
