Default Ticking noise on 4.7

2004 1500 4.7 2wd
Changed the oil yesterday and now I've got a tick. It subsides after warm up. Used a 5w30 as I usually do...
Any ideas?

Lifter tick. Common on the 4.7's.

So you think it's just a coincidence that it happened after the oil change?

Depending on mileage could have one slow to pump up. Check exhaust manifold bolts? Broken bolts on the passenger rear are common.

You don't say how many miles or if you used a different oil.
