Exclamation 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 losing power to gages and dying

On my 2002 Ram 1500 4.7 l. I posted about the P1388 code. I found I was not getting any power to the ASD really at all. I wired it in thru a fuse and the truck starts and runs now. The problem now is when the gages drop the truck dies. It will only do it at an idle BUT it won't start again till the gages come back. Any ideas on how to help. My 2004 3500 diesel is down , the rear end busted. I have to replace the whole thing so until I figure this out I'm without a vehicle. I need help urgently......

Probably a loose connection at one end or the other of your wire. Need to figure out why the original wiring stopped working.
