Why would they put the Dakota front? I guess they want all their suv/trucks to have the same look. Cheap bastards. The new durango has the same front. That sucks. It doesnt look aggressive anymore, compared to the new ford or other trucks. Dodge sure knows how to ruin things. Now they give you a bigger dakota (call it ram), with less warranty(3/36) and for more money. Just like kosher food, more money, half the taste.

 

i DO NOT like the way the new ram looks. a mega cab laramie....maybe but other than that.....i'll stick with my 05 QC

i also went to the dodge website and made an 06 ram exactly like my 05, it was $14,000 more!(i got mine during the employee discount for everyone plus a few other deals) but msrp was a $3,000 difference!

also i think it looks way too much like the nissan titan.

 

One word. Dakota.

 

check the rebates incentives etc. usually $8K-$10K off

 

I am new here, and was in the stealership last night looking for a 06 QC sport , heres what i was told....

Sticker - $38,045

-$2000 in incentives
-$1000 loyalty (I have a 2002 Jeep GC Limited)
-$2000 Down

and still he want $419.00/mo [sm=bs.gif]on a lease

I almost $hit myself......but I do love the way the truck looks, just hoping for more incentive soon

 

Two thoughts,

Wait until Dec, even better late dec. The dealers like to sell off some inventory at the end of the year for tax reasons.

Second, wait until the 07 comes out.

 

I dont hear to many good comments about the '06 Hemi.....except from the dealer, any thoughts?? And also whats new for '07?

Now I'm REALLY glad I bought an '05. Like others, for snorts and giggles I went to the Dodge site to price my current truck in an '06 expecting perhaps a $1K difference. Never finished the "build" since there no longer seems to be hemi-powered STs! Got to love the nitwits who put together the packages and option combos--NOT! Love that I don't have to deal with them now!

 

I got the new 2006 Quad 1500 Sport HEMI with Satilite Radio free for a year, Leather seats, 20" wheels, 6 disc CD etc etc and I paid $34000.00 Sticker was $37500.00

I am very happy so far. I will be making a few changes once I recover from the price tag though. So far gas mileage is at 14.3 MPG (city) and that is far better than what I was getting in the 2001 Durango SLT PLUS with the 5.9L Magnum. The extra power feels awesome!
