2006 Ram Sport.
Okay, now that the pictures as well as the truck are out, what does everyone think? I happen to like it. I cannot wait to go to our local dealer over Thanksgiving and snap some pics.

Whatcha think?
I priced one out at damn near $32,000 though. I had mine with bright white and gray cloth seats, in dash 6 disc CD changer w/ MP3, sliding rear window 17" wheels, 5 spd auto, and a slew of other options. Why does a truck have to be so damn expensive now?

Yeah i saw the price on the 1500 half tons when i went to the dealership last month. So instead of paying $30,000 for a single cab 1500, i turned my back to those and bought a cummins 2500. I figured if i was going to spend that much money, i was gonna get the most i could for it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I do NOT like the new cosmetic changes, PERIOD! However, the sport is less "Nissanish" than the chrome ones; but that's damning praise in my book.
Remember, you asked.
As for the price, it is completely rediculous, PERIOD and EXCLAMATION POINT! That's just silly and if anyone actually pays that, so is he or she. GM has started rebates and deals again, others will soon follow, if they haven't already. Domestic's marketshare keeps falling and that doesn't please stock holders.
As a reference price point, I paid $18K for my new '05 ST hemi with all the options I wanted (granted, none of the bling-bling crappola). However, I could take the remaining price difference, turn my truck over to my race car shop, and have a FAR superior machine (cosmetically and power-wise) and STILL be money ahead of the '06 you priced.
Aaaaggghhhh!

yea no joke. Don't get me wrong, I love the '06s, but I am not paying luxo-car cash for a semi-base truck. If I wanted to shell out $35k on a truck, I'd at least want a 4 door with leather.
