2004 Ram Cluster Inop
Hello,
I'm a new member to the forum. However, after recently looking on the forum about an issue I was having last week with my 2004 Ram 1500 4x4. I never found a direction to go even though there was some old posts. Lets start from the beginning. As I was driving one day last week the Instrument cluster and most everything on the steering column stopped working. I was getting a No Bus where the odometer usually is displayed. As you can imagine it's not a good thing to not have wipers when it's raining. Long story short I ended up at a local Dodge dealer who troubleshot the issue to having low voltage at the Anti lock Brake module connector. They removed the connector, cleaned up and reinstalled it. Presto everything is working again. As the tech told me it could have been another module as they are all interconnected. Long story short I would have looked for this for a long time and I was grateful to only have to pay 1 hour labor to get it fixed. So if you have a similar problem consider this module as one to look at. It's located on the drivers side behind the fuse box.
