Default Two turns = 1.125"

Turned my bars tonight. Measured before and after from a bunch of spots, used levels and straight edges. At the center of the wheel well I got 1 1/8" raise from two turns.

I started measuring with the wheels turned and I am pretty sure 35"x12.5" tires will fit. The latest Petersons has a 3rd gen with 37's and supposed stock suspension.

A friend of mine has a home made RTI that I am going to hit and see how much the wheels stuff up into the wheel wells then I will make my decision on tire size.

Good info, but how bout some pics!

Also make sure the 35's will be able to tun lock to lock while the suspension is compressed so you don't tear up the fender liner while turning over swells and bumps.

Great information! I am planning on turning mine this holiday weekend. Was planning on going 5 turns, but maybe I only need 3 or four to get me to my goal of 1.5 to 1.75 inches. Trying to fit a 325/50/22 Nitto Terra Grappler (approx. 34.5 tall by 12.8 wide...) Trying to go as little as possible so I can retain the stock shocks. I am doing this to a 60,000 mile Ram, so I am going to wd-40 the bolts a couple days before hand.

Remember to check the height after a week or so. They will tend to settle a little.

Well, I finally did it! 3 full turns got me approx 1.5" lift in the front. I fit my 325/50/22 Nitto Terra Grapplers on!! It looks bad A$$! The front is still sitting about 1/2" lower than the rear, but it not as noticable now. The tires are 34.8 inches tall and nearly 13 inches wide. I rub at full crank on my Mopar mud flaps (splash guards). It barely touches them when the wheel is fully turned. I can live with it, or I might try going up another 1/2 inch to see if it clears then. Or i might just take the flaps off and it won't rub at all..... I will try to post pictures soon.

Yeah, we definitely need to see some pictures of this.

I'm in a holding pattern because of the rims I want. Not available until the 1st of the year.

From my measurements 35 x 12.5's will definitely fit, thanks for confirming this for me.

Well, took some pictures over the weekend, but the didn't turn out very good (too dark). I will try to snap some yet today. I got approx. 1/2" for every full turn on the torsion bars. Ended up with 1.5" lift. I have driven it about 100 miles so far and it still sits at the same height (no settling yet). I am looking to and different shocks though. I am very happy with the way it turned out. It looks awesome. I ordered some fender flares but not for sure if they are going to be put on. the tires don't stick out as much as I thought they would. When I get the pictures up, you will have to let me know what you think.
