Default Do You Run A Rear Sway Bar? I Need One!

Hello 3rd gen friends! I have ventured over from the 2nd gen side with a question. I recently swapped in a Chrysler 9.25 from an 02 1500 into my 01 1500 to have disk brakes on all for corners. Runs drives and stops fantastic but I'm having some issues locating a rear sway bar.

I purchased a Hellwig 7626 bar and it did not fit. The bar was not wide enough. I know for a fact the shock mounts are farther apart on the 02+ 9.25s then they are on the 01 and older 9.25s.

Hellwig lists that it will fit so going back and forth with them for a week taking measurements and pictures, and checking other bars by them we came to the conclusion that none of their bars would fit.

So here I am back to square one looking for a rear sway bar. My Ram is a reg cab short bed 4x4 with a small lift so body roll is real.

If you run a rear sway bar on your 1500, what kind are you running? Pics are appreciated!

Didn't some of them come stock with a rear sway bar?

Not on the 1500's. Only 3rd gen Ram 1500 that came with a rear sway bar was the SRT reg cab.

And the SRT10 had a Dana rear, so that wouldn't fit the Chrysler 9.25
