truck in question is a 06 2500 Ram reg cab 6 speed manual..57 hemi. 4x4

approx 60,000 km ago, { when the drag link broke in half} 160,000 km on truck now, I had all the oem mopar self sealed parts removed, ball joints,,all drive line u joints replaced with serviceable units..

I still use the shop today that did the repair, and they had a hell of a time, rusted hubs that were replaced...ya da yada..

Yesterday I was showed how easy the mechanic could turn booth front axel joints...shafts with wheels on the hoist. { not suspended}

I have no intention of laying one more dime into this truck, but is thier guide to gauge level of worry or am IM being taken for a ride?

 

If there isn't any slop in the joints, no need to change them.
