I am amost done with all my noob questions.



I am just wondering what rearend the truck has for gears and slip options did they have options for 03?



I assume I dont have 411's since I don rev ove 2g @ 70mph.


any way to tell since I did not buy it and dont have the original window sticker?

 

Before anybody can reply, we'll need more info on what kind of truck it is ie. 1500/2500, 4.7lt/5.7lt, with/without the 20's. Info like that will help in determining what type of rear end you have. If you have the 20" wheels then your gearing should be the 2.92. As for the limited slip that is a little harder. I have noticed that how easy it is to spin the tires will determine whether or not you have the limited slip. I have it in my truck and I can't spin them on dry asphalt hardly at all. Hope this helps a little.

 

Prolly a slip of the key, but I think 05Hemi meant 3.92 with the 20's. Take a look at the RPM's at specific mileage and post, but by the sound of it I think you have a 3.55 rear end. That is what I have and as best as I can remember it turns like 1800 at 70.

All you have to do is check inside your glovebox and there is a sticker that has all your info, including your axel ratio.

03 - QC -1500 - 5.7 HEMI - I think they are the 17" rims. I will look in the AM. Thanks for the glove box info! I will check that out also..

Most likely on a 1500 you have the light duty chrysler 9 1/4.

 

3.55 gears and limited slip. It was in the glove box!!!

My glove box says that too, and yet my truck has 4.10 and an Auburn limited slip...

Oh wait I put those in...
