Hhhmmm.... That probably implies that you need cats?

I might be tempted to do long tubes, high flow cats, 2.5" or 3" duals, and NO mufflers. The cats quiet it down quite a bit...... and the larger pipe will give you that nice, deep tone.

I see alot of talk about longtubes interfering with steering and other things on that side of the compartment. If I were sure that those long tubes wouldn't interfere with anything else that is exactly what I was thinking.

I also see a lot of other post saying that the 2500 engine compartments are a little more cramped. I really don't know if there's any truth in that. Long tubes were my first thought

AR and TTI do a whole longtube setup from header back optional cats. And are made specifically for the 2500's about 1700-2000$

Ouch.....

Might wanna see if there are any independent exhaust shops around, that can bend you up some exhaust. We used to do this on a regular basis..... and we would do it for around 600 or so. (customer supplies headers, we install.)

Default purge canister solenoid

hey brother the other day, a bit cold out. truck wont start. 05 ram 2500 4x4. brand new battery put in. cel is now on. never was before. never had a problem starting. p0456 was the code being thrown. when its cranking over it seem like no fuel delivery or no spark. i turn the key and hear the fuel pump come on, then turn the key, she cranks but wont start. could a faulty CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID cause the truck not to start? checked all fuses in the fuse block by the battery. all seem to have power. Any insight woud be greatly appreciated.

Purge solenoid shouldn't even come into play when cranking. What engine?
