Default Longtube header fitment

2005 Ram 2500 SLT HD QC 4x4 5.7.
any suggestions on longtube headers to put on my truck. Can find tons of stuff for 1500's but nothing for 2500's. Brand, site, and part number would be a big help. Thanks in advance.

I would expect that if they fit the 1500's, they will fit the heavier trucks as well. After all, it's the same engine compartment, and frame.....

I in the Northeast. I get terrible winter's alot of salt and good portion of rain. Purhasing headers and would like to know which will last me the longest with this climate. Stainless steel, titanium ceramic coat, ceramic coat, silver ceramic, painted. I don't really know all of them just wandering with will be most durable for the harsh climate in my area. Thanks in advance.

Probably something with the ceramic coating, or it's like. (silver ceramic, etc.) Protects the metal from the elements.

I appreciate the intel. Any thoughts on resonator vs mufflers. More specifically a brand called solo performance.? The seem to offer free flow type resonator.

How much drone do you want in the cab.

I must just be old..... I pout a quiet muffler on my truck, and find it quite pleasant.

Chances are good you can find various videos on youtube of different exhaust systems. Check 'em out, see what gives the sound you want.

Don't really mind the volume in or outside the cab. Just looking for a loud deep tone from idle to to red line. No high pitch or rice burner sound. I have 89 mustang LX 347 srtoked with some nice goodies on it aswell. This is my first truck so I'm just looking to beef her up a bit.

Do they do inspections, or emissions testing where you are?

They doing. But I'm told I only have to pass safety due to my commercial plates and the vehicle being over 8000 lbs.
