Default Headlights and fog lights

Could my fog lights being tied into headlights cause lamp out and headlights not to work?

Yes they are LED lights and a jumper wire ran from there to actual headlight wire

Instead of running them straight off of the headlight wire run a relay off the headlight wire to activate the fogs, it'll be less load on the headlight circuit.

Yeah, you need to wire them up properly using a relay and a switch. You can cause your wiring to burn up that way.
