Default whining noise

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with the hemi engine and just changed out the power steering pump and replaced the serpentine belt. Now when I turn the wheel there is a whining noise and only when I turn the wheel. Anybody know what the problem might be?

Still have air in the p/s system. Jack up the front end of the truck, start it up, crank the wheels back and forth a few times. Shut it off, and check the fluid, if it still has air bubbles in it, let it sit for 30 minutes, top off the fluid, and do it again. Keep doing that until the fluid doesn't have bubbles in it.... If it still whines, it is likely just a poor quality rebuilt pump.

Sometimes it takes a while to get all the air out. It's an exercise in patience. (frustration.....)
