Default Fan Not Blowing on Low settings

2008 Dodge Ram 1500 - 5.7L

My fan blower is not responding on the first three settings. It only blows on the highest settings, and smells of radiator coolant.
I do not know if i need to change the resistor, or the fan blower itself.
Any help would be great, thanks

Bad resistor block. $50 and 30 minutes will get it running like it should.

Thats it (background info) all the lower speed settings use resistors to drop the voltage at the motor, as the speed goes up the setting has a lower resistor so more voltage is used at the motor. The high speed though has no resistor as it gets full voltage. Thats why when these go bad you lose all the low settings but retain high as it has nothing to fail.
