Cannot comment on the 5000X other than it is a very different shock from the 5000.

Potential sources of vibration are: Tire balance, tire defects, driveshaft dent or thrown weight, worn u joints, transmission mounts, sticky brake cylinders, sticky emergency brake components, brake shoe contamination, brake shoe movement/adjustment. Ride control (damping) is effected by: shocks and bushings.

The 5000x, I guess, is the replacement to the rs5000. I had replaced the trans mount a while ago because it seemed collapsed. I had replaced brake pads and rotors all around several months ago. I think I’ll check for out of round tire
i think I’ll raise the rear and check for out of round tire.

Rotate your tires, then go for a ride, see if anything is different.

cross rotated the tires yesterday, front to back. Spun each one before taking them off. Tires don’t seem out of round and wheels appear straight. Still have the slight bounce at 50mph. I notice that the Motor mounts seem really soft. The rubber is cracking and I can easily move the motor with a medium size pry bar behind the mount. Might look into that

Run your hand around the tires as well. Sometimes, you won't be able to SEE a bubble, but you can sure feel it.

no bubbles. Don’t know where else to turn. Thinking maybe bad leaf springs, body mounts, engine mounts. Just don’t want to throw parts at it though

Get rid of the balance beads. Those have been known to cause intermittent problems, and unless you have absolutely huge tires, you don't need them. I know you had the vibe beforehand... still. Get rid of 'em.

yeah. I’ve been considering that. They were more of a rule out wheel balance diagnostic

So a few other things I’ve tried. Rebalanced the tires, loosened and retorqued the body mounts, realigned the exhaust, turned mds off and then back on. Nothing cures it. This is not like a major vibration, it’s more of like a gentle pulsation. I noticed that the passenger seat shakes a little and if I have a drink in the cupholser, you can see it shaking to the same frequency as the truck. I notice if there is some weight in the back, it seems to be less pronounced. Anyone thinking leaf springs?
