Default Electronic throttle position sensor (EPS)

for some time now I have been having trouble with the EPS light (lightning bolt). When it comes on it is usually when I’m driving and come to a stop light .. the idle drops to 600 and then sputters a few time before the light comes on and then the idle goes up to 1100.. no check engine light and it drives fine. If I stop and turn off the engine and try to restart then the light is flashing and has no power and runs like crap. I have found that putting it in reverse and backing up a few feet before parking and turning it off seem to reset something and it will then start fine with no light. I have replaced the throttle with built in EPS and the MAP sensor but still have this problem.. it seems happen more or more consistently when it’s raining but does happen a lot when it’s dry. Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts on what is wrong or how to fix it?
