Default Tire and Wheel Guys.... Question

I just got an 08 Ram 1500. Its fantastic! The PO put on 295 65r 20 tires on it, with the stock rims, and it rubs on the sway bar at full lock, and upper control arms as well. I'm sure I need wheel spacers. I've never been down this path before. On some calculator I used, it basically said I was about 1 inch wider, what spacer size would I need? 1 inch? Any ideas?

I really dislike wheel spacers, especially on a truck......

I've never had them. But I have an almost set of Nitto Trail Grapplers on it, and really don't want to throw them out. Like I said, it wasn't my choice, I just bought it like that, so was blessed to have a used truck with new tires, brakes, rotors, ball joints and control arms. Since these tires are going to last a while, and rub... more than a little,... I was looking for options.

If they only rub at the lock, I would just be careful how tight I turned. If they have a significant impact on turning radius.... might consider wheels with less backspacing..... Though that is not exactly an inexpensive alternative either. Any used tire outlets around you, that might be willing to make a deal on tires that aren't quite as wide? Or possibly different rims??

It's more than just rubbing at full-lock. I like stock look on trucks, Also, with a kid just going off to college, a senior, and a freshman, and all the related expenses...rims are out. I'd be happy swapping tires for a stock size. I don't want to be unsafe. I figured spacers would be logical. If I went the spacer route...do I need all 4 wheels? I'd assume so.

If the rears don't rub, I wouldn't bother. Keep in mind, moving the wheels out further, may just have them rub somewhere else.

That's why I like stock lol. I think the rears may rub at full articulation as there are some rubber marks on the inside liner of the rear wheel well. I don't think moving them out would rub anywhere else. I've crawled under there and looked. I think 1/2" may work. I appreciate your advice.
