Mine has the 3.55 gears and I also want to install 4.10's. I tow a 6x10 cargo trailer everyday for my lawncare business.

I got a price here in FT Worth for $400 installed. It will be spring before I can afford it though.

I just bought a 96 mustang gt. Joined the mustang forum and found that swapping out the gears to 4.10's is the main topic there too.

 

sweat, my boy just bought a 95 gt mustang 5.0 and we are rebuilding it frame up, im really stoked cause he is going to let me help, he plans on putting money into it to, so ill be joining that forum also,

 

i have invested less then a grand in my truck, and i only paid 16000 for it, i got real lucky cause my credit sux, nothing real bad, just got into a bad motorcycling accident and the hospital bills caught up on me, i really couldnt even get anything at the time, and i needed a truck then, dodge brought the price down and thats how i got it, iv been a dodge fan forever, my last three vehicles were dodges with v8s, and i love there v8s,

 

I too have the 3.7, 5 speed. I would like to upgrade to 4:10's next year (warranty)

My question is this; can you intall a LSD on a 5 speed, and would it be worth it? and would a larger rear diff cover be the way to go to keep the gears cool?

any advice would be appreciated.
