Default How to make a engine harness wire loom for the 4.7 -> 5.7 engine swap

Hello, Iím asking those of you out there who know how to combine wire harnesses from 2 different engines or how to make a whole new one for the 02 4.7 to the 03 5.7 engine swap. Trying to avoid paying high dollar to have someone make one for me, my truck info should be in my sig, if not please let me know.

Thanks for for your time,

Trying not to laugh...if you REALLY want to do this, contact hotwireauto.com.....otherwise, since we have no idea what your mechanical, electrical and electronic expertise and capabilities are (sounds like not much), you would have to get both wiring diagrams and compare pinouts and where each piece of the harness goes between the two engines, subtracting what isn't applicable and adding pieces where needed. Good luck LMAO.

Woah there pal how about we tone it down on being a dick? If you have nothing to contribute to the thread then don't comment Mr. Know it all. People like you get my blood boiling.
Anyhow OP do a Google search. There was a forum on a Dakota website about a guy doing exactly what you want to do. He even used the 4.7L harness and just added things (for example more oxygen sensors). You are already ahead because you have the 4.7L. it's out there and if I had access to both diagrams I could help you but I don't. Good luck!

Funny how you shoot your [email protected] off, then turn around and tell him to do a Google search lol. At least I actually gave him some directional guidance, you apparently haven't seen how many times that very question has been brought up, discussed, answered over and over and over ad nauseum. I'm glad I get your blood boiling, keyboard warrior. Since you started with the personal attack and name calling, I have no problem telling you that you should go off yourself so as to not contaminate the gene pool any further and remove the stench of your DNA from the earth.

Edit: oh Christ, no [email protected] millennials...your ***** have barely dropped...

You are absolutely right. Hopefully he has offed himself and there won't be any more noise.
To the OP: there is a sticky or thread on here somewhere that has the factory service manuals you will need to attempt this. As I said, without knowing what your aptitude/ability is for such things we can only wish you luck or recommend professionals.

Continue with statements like that, and you won't last long here. We have a pretty low tolerance for that kind of nonsense.
