Greetings to all. I'm new to this forum. I'm looking for a little advice. I replaced the actuator on my truck about 2 years ago. Everything worked fine for a while until one day at my farm I got in a wet spot and 4wd would not engage. Now when i try to engage 4wd all you can hear is grinding coming from the actuator. So my question is, can the gears be realigned or do I just need to start over and get a new actuator? Also, is there an underlying issue that could be causing the actuator to go out?
