So Im new to this Hemi thing, coming from many years of Cummins trucks, everytime I get in I get a gascap dinger, hit the odometer button, it goes away until I cycle the key again, it was on when I bought the truck and it had a cel, I dont remember the exact code number but it basically said evap system leak (loose cap), I cleared it and the cel has not returned just the gascap dinger, is there something here I am missing or do I just need to go buy a new cap and see what it does?

 

 

Replaced cap with a new unit from dealer, cleared codes and returned immediatly, p0457

 

Check all the lines on the evap system. The code is for a large leak, so, cause should be pretty easy to find.
