Default Suspension leveling kits

I have an 07 3500 4x4 5.9. I would like to level the front by maybe 2.5" Will this stress my ball joints, and Tie Rod Ends to a point of excessive wear, alignment issues, and / or Ride degradation?

Independent front suspension? Or do you still have solid axle?

Then you should be fine. Don't go beyond that though, then you start running into control arm issues. It will ride rougher, and I would recommend an alignment once it is installed.
