Default Electrical connection

Hi everyone, This will be my first post on this forum. A little backstory I was performing an oil change on my 2002 dodge Ram 1500 when I noticed an electrical plug dangling near the frame. I have looked everywhere and cannot figure out what this plug is for! It's two prong plug about 3 feet in length and is attached to a thick wiring harness near the battery. Any suggestions?

Anything on your truck that DOESN'T work? It may be for an option that you simply don't have as well....

I just checked and my fog lights dont work but those are a green and black wire. Might be a relay or fuse for the fog lights. Other then that everything seems fine.

Being a two-wire connector, I suspect is is power and ground for something you just don't have.
