2wd front end popping when reverse and turn

Default 2wd front end popping when reverse and turn

I have a 2wd 2002 ram sport and tonight when my husband went to leave work...he reversed and turned left and it made a pop noise.....any help with what that could be would be extremely helpful!

Well, lets see. So many variables. Where did the "pop" come from? Engine area, rear end or front end? Drivers or passenger side? Under your seat? Beneath the dash? Exhaust? How many miles on the vehicle? What engine? Maintenance history? Pretend we know nothing about your husbands truck, which we don't. Provide as much information and detail as possible. Popping noises can be caused by many things. You have to help us help you by at least narrowing own the location of the sound.

She said 2WD, front end. Agreed not a lot to work from, but not a lot can make a pop noise on a rear wheel drive from the front end.
