Default Leveling spacers on top of lift kit.

I currently have 2 inch leveling spacers on my 03 Ram 2WD. I'm wanting to buy a rough country 3 inch lift kit along with some shocks for a 4 to 5 inch lift in place of the 3 inch lift shocks included in the kit. I have no idea if this will work but it would be nice to have an extra 1 to 2 inches of lift if possible. Does anyone know if leaving the leveling spacers installed along with the lift kit will work? Or if anyone has tried and succeeded please let me know. Thanks!

Won't work. You will be extending the suspension beyond its ability. You will snap balljoints like toothpicks. If you want more lift, get a kit that will give you the amount of lift you want.

As I recall, in most lift kits, they specifically state NOT to do what you are thinking about.

As stated, buy a kit with the lift you want. What you are thinking is akin to stacking lift blocks on the rear axle. NoNo.
