Osteodoc, thanks for the tip about albums...
I didn't know about photo albums here; I never get beyond this section of the Forum. Anyway, I did an album (couple pages) for you to look at.
Our stuff, except for the Lambos, who are our upholsterer's. I included them since Chrysler did own the company for a while.
Thanks again for noting I didn't have an album and arousing my curiosity.
All the best.
Just checked the album and they come up in reverse order of how I loaded them and intended for them to be viewed... oh well.

Gone Fishin:
I only wish I could go "mach 3" ON the ground!
In a magazine article I likened doing 220+ on damp Salt to a dance. Depending on the boost level, it is either a careful waltz on an ever increasingly faster moving dance floor, or with max boost (40#) it becomes a frantic tango with a 4000 pound gorilla on speed, one with a mind of his own! It is a rush to floor it at that speed, see the boost gauge peg, and feel the rear lunge left faster than most performance cars in 1st gear.

With badly needed better traction we should go 240, Much more comfortably.
All the best.

Mill500--"Ever add up the hours you've got in all that?"

hours, dollars, frustrations (anyone can buy parts and go fast, but it takes real idiots to race obsolete antiques that require we R&D and fab nearly all hipo parts ourselves). I DON'T even want to know... ever, what I've got in da stuff. For example, for just the Red Avanti I've nearly 650 receipts and that is with one other person (spending 3.5 years and 1500 documented hours) and myself (five years and who knows how many hours) doing everything but the upholstery--meaning only two receipts for most of the major R&D and labor.
The race cars? Even more giggles! As Penske once said, "Racing is the sport that turns money into noise." Or, another quote on my office door, "Some days racing is like standing in a freezing shower, tearing up $1000 bill as fast as you can" (after Pratt Cole).
And, yes... I absolutely love it! Sure beats collecting stamps, as I did when a kid, he, he.
Thanks for the nice comments, gang. I appreciate them.

Avanti, This is perhaps a little personal, and if you don't want to answer, I understand, what inspired the "self portrait" ???

Gone Fishin: No problem... i.e., the "self-portrait."
I once had to decide on a major in college and one of the semi-viable choices was graphic arts, looonng before the age of digital. Though I went in a different direction, professionally, I never got graphics out of my system. And, when digital goodies became available, I was irreversibly hooked.
Later.

You are a man of many talents. Your self portrait is very COOL as hitekrednek put it.
It would seem that you have found the niche that works best!!! Keep it up.
