How do you know if it's bad because nothing has changed when I swap it out I put the original one back it and still nothing I'm getting a tcc solenoid circuit open so I changed the tcc solenoid and still doing the same thing I'm at a dead end now I quit driving the truck to keep it from getting worse

I also dropped the valve body just to make 100 percent sure the overdrive spring didn't break and it all was good I just really don't want to buy a torque converter and drop the tranny

That code gets set when the PCM doesn't see the RPM drop when it commands TCC engage. PCM controls the solenoid on the ground side. Engine running, you should see power on that wire coming out of the trans. (and ground your test lite to the frame, or some such.) It may be a PCM problem, may be a torque converter problem. You can test it by supplying an alternate ground when you think it should be engaged. (just run a wire to a switch, that will ground the circuit, doesn't matter where it grounds.) If that doesn't make a difference, bad torque converter. If it works, then either the wire to the pcm is open, or, the pcm itself is bad.

Do you know which wires they are or should I look it up and do some testing I part of me things it's the torque converter being damaged after I got it from the previous owner who didn't use atf+4 because going down a hill it locks and then unlocks with the smallest touch of the gas I'm also running 35s idk if that makes a difference this is my summer project so I'm in no rush I drove it for a little while how it is only because the Trans Temps stayed low but I'd like to fix it before I drive it again thanks for all the help and suggestions

Looking at the 01 service manual....... It's an Orange wire with black stripe. Pin 7 on the trans connector. Don't know if wire colors will be the same for you..... Pin should be though.
