Default 545RFE maintenance question

Transmission maintenance question. Am about to change out 545rfe 4wd filter and fluids all Mopar kit. Will be 3rd time but at least this will be the first with the Mag-hytec pan I can drain before removing. I have had a brand new OEM valve body and a solenoid setup for years on the shelf. The body in fluid all this time stored nicely. My question is should I go ahead and change out the valve body and solenoid to new stuff or just keep running the original equipment until I have a problem? The trans shifts quite well and I always keep in tow/haul in town because there is no overdrive off on my model which makes it shift faster and better along with a superchips program I have been running about 7 years and the truck responds well to the slight tune while keeping quick and responsive pedal action due to staying in a gear most of the time. Every time I start to do any maintenance I think about how I bought this stuff due to people having problems and needing a replacement. I drive mine pretty hard and it has held up well even in the serious heat here. The transmission always lets me know by a slightly faster shift into drive when cool that it is time for filter change and that always make it not happen for a few more years. Been a very dependable daily driver for many years now. Thanks for any insight.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Do your fluid/filter change, but, leave the other stuff in there, unless/until it is actually a problem. The mere fact that you have replacement parts sitting on the shelf, pretty much assures you will never need them. Ain't that the way it always goes though?

I really needed someone to tell me something my gut already was saying! Fluid drain and fresh filters and I found making sure the O-ring the tube goes through is a necessity on this model. I probably would have created a problem by messing with any more than what it is calling for anyway. Appreciate it.

LOL.... dude, you've only got 108K. To put it into perspective, I've got roughly 200K more miles and my all original 545RFE is still shifting perfectly. Like you, I can drain mine without pulling the pan and do so every 25K. Filters changed once in a blue moon.
