Bought mine used and the only problem Ive had with it is the dying problem. Its weird though, happens when I turn the steering wheel all the way when going at slow speeds, even with a full tank so its not the feed. Doesnt happen when im almost there only when I lock it all the way, almost like its pinching a tube when I lock the wheel.

I've only had minor stuff with mine. I had the Infinity amp replaced and the power steering pump replaced. That's it and it has been nothing but gas and oil. I guess I better knock on some wood or something.

Going in to have my catalytic converter replaced after only 5100 miles tomorrow. I'm hoping my woes end there, I had a '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport that was nothing but problems. The more I drove it, the more I hated it. I love this truck so I'm keeping my finger crossed.

I have had two 05's with no problems.

For you people taking it in multiple times you should read the warranty contract. There is something in it about replacing the truck after so many times at the dealership.

ok got my truck back today. they replaced the gas tank and the fuel pump. from what the dealer told me there was a leak in the tank and pump assebly that made my check engine light come on. almost the same thing as having the gas cap loose but it was not the gas cap. hopefully this will end all of my problems. i love my truck and dont want to have to go through a lemon law deal, but if problems persist then i will have to. keeping my fingers crossed though.

Well my truck is going back in Tuesday (4th time). Call it coincidence, I just happened to finally get a call from the service manager the morning after I called Dodge customer service, and got a case number, to tell me that the Chrylser tech from Detroit will be here Tuesday to look at my truck. Soo we'll see what happens next.

How did you get the service manager from customer service to call you. I have called the customer service many times and all i get is a run around with no one helping me.

My call back was the service manager of the dealer, not of customer service. Well I just got my truck back again, the tech out of detroit had the doors 'recalibrated', but the noise is still slightly there. The tech said that the noise is exceptable and that no more repairs will be made. The service manager says his hands are tied there is nothing more he can do at this time. I pursued by saying if it is within spec why aren't any other 05's making the same noise and what are the specs? They don't have that information, what a surprise. It sounds like if the tech says it's within spec then it is. If I wanted to go through arbitration then I can shell out $250 and fight it. But the service manager said that it is not hampering the performance of the vehicle, it still blows hot/cold air, and that I'd be taking a chance. Do I call customer service back and request 'the specs'? Will I get anywhere? I just don't know.
