I have a 2007 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 my dumb *** room mate thought he could jump start my truck by hooking an extension cord to the house and touching the battery...... No I was not there to stop him.... So as you can guess it fried my tipm ecu and cluster I replaced them all and sent it to a dealership so they could flash it,he did and told me everything is communicating with eachother but now it won't turn over and the cluster is saying no bus.....

 

I suspect there is more damage than just what was replaced..... nothing in your truck is designed to tolerate that sort of abuse..... Probably needs to go back to the dealer.....

 

Sounds like your truck is fried or something... kind of like overloading a laptop/desktop with electric/power.

 

First thing I would do is hook room mates ********* to 120 volts an see if he can say DC , LOL but it could be a number of things , I know your looking for quick answer or solutions but that may not happen,, does it power up with key in on position ? Still sounds like something is not communicating

 

Haha I agree I would do the same! I forgot to ask as well if anything is happening you try to start it up and such...
