Ram 1500 vin
Thank you, yes, the window..... stickers, not acceptable here at all. I think it's totally this way now all across Europe. Must be on the chassis, FULL VIN, not a 'part of it'. Will keep on this, got the truck up on blocks now, millimeter by millimeter searching this frame.

This site might help you but unsure

Its behind the passenger headlight..
The Body Code Plate is located on the right front hydroform fender rail just behind the headlight assembly. There are seven lines of information on the body code plate. Lines 5, 6, and 7 are not used to define service information. Information reads from left to right, starting with line 4 in the center of the plate to line 1 at the bottom of the plate.
The last code imprinted on a vehicle code plate will be followed by the imprinted word END. When two vehicle code plates are required, the last available spaces on the first plate will be imprinted with the letters CTD (for continued).

Unsure but found this on internet,,maybe it can help
98 2500 frame it was just forward of the rear cab mount on the passenger side, stamped into the top of the frame rail
Other VIN locations, sometimes referred to as anti-theft labels, can be found in numerous places. For instance, VINs are stamped or affixed to the front fender and bumper, the hood, the left and right door, rear quarter panels, the trunk and the rear bumper. Sometimes VINs are imprinted on rear passenger doors as well. The codes are also stamped on the engine, transmission and drive train to discourage reassembly of wrecked or stolen vehicles. And some, but not all, vehicles will also have the serial number positioned in confidential locations, such as under the carpets; on the interior of the vehicle's "A" post, the support that runs from the top of the front door along the windshield, or "B" post, the support that runs midway through the vehicle; and on firewalls.
This seems to be the common info.
Was told by rep. at Chrysler that the 3rd VIN# should be in one of the front wheel wells. Unsure which one, or if the inner fender well has to be removed??? Forgot to post: Chrysler Hot Line, 1(800) 992-1997, press #4 for Dodge vehicles.
By the way the VIN stamped on the passenger side shock tower is not a deep stamping and is hard to see, so maybe make a close inspection just to make sure.
I've also read that on the 6.1 Hemi motor the VIN is stamped on the block on the left side under the head. Not going to be easy to see back there.
Just removed my engine cover, used a long mechanics mirror and bright ledflashlight. The last eight digits of my VIN# is stamped on the engine block exactly like his photo above.
Mine's a 2010 5.7. That should get you registered.
Almost forgot. I wrote the last 8 digits of my VIN# backwards on a piece of paper to compare what I was seeing on the engine block was correct. When I first found the number, I forgot that I was suppose to see it backwards because of the mirror.
Don't know if this is the secret number or not but I found my entire VIN stamped into the drives side frame rail when we did my exhaust...
VINs are normally located in several locations on a car, but the most common places are:
- On the door frame/door post of the front doors (usually driver's but sometimes passenger's)
- On the dash near the windshield
- On the engine itself (machined pad on front of engine)
- On the car's firewall
- In the left-hand inner wheel arch
- On the steering wheel/steering column
- On the radiator support bracket
- On your car's title, registration, guarantee/maintenance book or on the declarations page of your auto insurance policy
The Body Code Plate can be found in one of two places, either on the floor under the passenger seat or on the front face of the radiator core support.

Yes, I say that too! They were brought in here with full approval in 2012, I have full certification, all documents. Nothing was done 'under the table', as so much is over here. I have 3 vehicles, including this Dodge, that now, they don't want registered here. There are many American cars and pickups floating around, as an owner, of course you notice them. Speaking to owners, they all know what they face at the next inspection... one by one, they're off the road... I have a SRT 300C US import facing the same fate in October... even though this series was sold in Europe. No chassis number, no certification for road use here.
