Default AC compressor makes the ETC light come on dodge ram 1500

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7

Replaced my ac compressor and dryer this last weekend. At the same time since i was under the hood. I replaced the plugs and cleaned the TB as well. All was good yesterday driving around the neighborhood. Picking up the kids from school today. When the compressor cycles on it throws the ETC light. This makes the truck run very poor.Shut the truck off and restart all is good lintel the compressor cycles again.I have read mayby the belt is slipping? I would appropriate any help.

Check all the connections under the hood near where you were playing. Probably something just isn't plugged in tight.

I will scan the pcm tomorrow. Could the ac clutch need adjusted? Seems to be dragging when it kicks back on pulling the rpms way down. Truck has plenty of response from the pedal.
